Faded Jeans and Pfannkuchen
Hey Lovelies, how are you all? 💛
I've done it. I've found the most sunshiny MMC of the books' world.
I know many of us love the grumpy MMC, the rude-to-the-world-only-soft-for-her kinda man. But I love sunny MMC. The man who is funny, light-hearted, and makes the room light up with a beautiful smile.
AND, I found him. Noah Gromotka is that man. He knows cooking, has dimples, and is so supportive.
Jolene Peterson - our FMC is a sunshine too. Even though she has faced many life struggles, she always wears a smile on her face. Her life has turned upside-down many times, but there she is, always standing strong.
Her character helped me so much to understand the feelings and emotions that we feel towards our family. Even after her mother has treated her whole life as a piece of trash, she wants to have a civil relationship with her and never misbehaves with her.
Noah, on the other hand, has helped her heal. He healed something he didn't break, kinda love.
Ever the funny guy, held her hand when she was breaking.
I loved so many scenes in this book.
Like, the matching denim-booths scene. It was so cute. And, in the epilogue, it felt much cuter.
The small-town vibe. I love small-town settings, and this one was so cozy, beautiful, and warm.
The fall setting was beautiful.
The town's people were beautiful too.
The epilogue was so wholesome. With Dolly/Jo achieving her dreams, and having two beautiful kids with their matching booths. And, Noah and Jo are in love just as much as they were at the start of their relationship, maybe even more.
The book is Faded Jeans and Pfannkuchen by Storm Shultz.
This is the 2nd book in the Romance on the Menu series.
If you love books with small-town and fall settings, you should definitely read this book.
My Rating: 5 🌟
