The Boyfriend List

Hey Lovelies, how are you all? 💛

Today's review is an ARC review.

If you love books with friends-to-lovers, cozy vibes, light-hearted but at the same time deals with past trauma, and healing, then this book is for you.

This book also explores Asian family dynamics, and as an Asian, I was able to relate to it. And, both the MCs were the youngest child, so it includes the inner feelings of how a younger child is.

I have not read any books featuring the youngest daughter and youngest son trope, so it was refreshing. And, many books don't explain how much the youngest child suffers from the changes in the family, being compared to their elder siblings, and mostly being taken for granted.

And, talking about romance, I love the small details like remembering the first time they met. Remembering each other's favorite food, regular drink. I also loved the drama that their co-workers created to realize that they are meant for each other.

Personally, I loved the character of Gloria. She was stuck in her career but she courageously took the steps and changed that. And did what she wanted for herself. She inspired me.

I loved the part where London wrote all the things on sticky notes. It was so cute.

I loved the epilogue. The proposal was so beautiful. Just an intimate proposal, no over-the-top decorations, no fancy stuff, just minimalist, cozy, private as it should be, and the love they have for each other is a chef's kiss.

The book is The Boyfriend List by Nicole Lam. This book is the #2 book in Love in L.A series. But, this can be read as a standalone.

My Ratings: 4.5 🌟

I hope you read and love this book 🩷
