The Housemaid

Today I am sharing the review of the first psychological thriller book I read. 

The book is The Housemaid by Freida McFadden. 

This was my first Freida McFadden's book. I liked the book. The book is divided into three parts. The first part was not so interesting, it was like a normal book, nothing mystery or thriller. But the second part started and WOW, the second part's 1st paragraph shocked me. I would have never guessed this was going to happen. If you have read thriller/mystery books maybe you could imagine what could happen. But, it was my first book and I was pretty shocked. 

At first, I was bored, the first part was boring and not so interesting and I read that first part in 2 days. But, when I started 2nd part, I could not stop reading. I completed 2nd and 3rd part in one reading. I was not able to sleep before completing the book and I was awake till 4:30 in the morning to complete the book. 

The ending of the last chapter was not expected by me, not at all. 

Overall, I enjoyed the book, and I will read more thriller/mystery books.
